These discussion forums give individuals a place to discuss Silver openly with a group of like minded individuals without the chatter and distractions that a public might invite. The public can read our forums, but they cannot post.
One rule, be polite and respect each individual on an equal basis. The greatest attribute we can have is to help others help themselves. There is no greater reward. The greatest character attribute we can have is a civil respect for individuals and the community. Great leaders are made of these things. Therfore, violators will have to be removed.
There will be "stupid" statements made and obviously, data and news will be debated. This is what we need as Precious Metal Investors (debates). This is how we learn. While most take it well when an opinion is debated, it gets harder to stay civil with each other when the opinions get to the challenged stage. There might be times when you feel it is necessary, but I ask you all to act in a mannor that is civil. None of us have an easy time with "I was wrong"---but it is inherent in our learning process. And we all have our turn being wrong. When dealing with others, this comes to mind. Jesus was asked which of the commandments is the greatest? To which He replied---If you could love your neighbor (and your God) as you love yourself, you would not need the other 9 commandments. (Paraphrased). The community and diversity is our strength. Let us respect all individuals, even when they might not deserve it. Thank you.
